Christophe Lambert n'était pas peu fier lors de l'avant-première de 10 Days in a Madhouse le 11 novembre à New York, jour de sortie du film aux Etats-Unis. Pas seulement parce qu'il défendait ce long métrage au côté de sa jeune partenaire Caroline Barry, mais aussi parce qu'il posait avec sa fille chérie, Eleanor. 

10 Days in a Madhouse suit le parcours pour le moins mouvementé d'une journaliste à la fin du XIXe siècle. En 1887, à seulement 23 ans, la reporter Nellie Bly, travaillant pour Joseph Pulitzer, joue les inflitrées dans un asile, cherchant à révéler la corruption, les abus et même les meurtres qui ont lieu dans l'établissement. 

Christophe Lambert incarne, dans ce film, le directeur de cet établissement peu recommandable. En France, on découvrira le mythique Tarzan de 1984, dans la peau d'un ambassadeur, dans la romance signée Claude Lelouch, avec Jean Dujardin, Elsa Zylberstein et Alice Pol. Pour cette oeuvre baptiséeUn + Une, il a eu le plaisir de tourner en Inde, dans un décor enchanteur. Le héros de Highlander a aussi tourné sous la direction des frères Coen, dansAve, César !. 

Avec Eleanor, 22 ans, née de son histoire avec Diane Lane, Christophe Lambert est un "super papa" comme le dit elle-même sa fille unique, et sa priorité est simple : qu'Eleanor soit heureuse, comme il le confiait à Paris Match. Le démon de l'alcool est loin derrière lui et il en parle sereinement. La remise en question a eu véritablement lieu quand il avait 42 ans : "Je me levais pour boire." Il tente alors de se sevrer, tient le cap pendant trois ans puis dérape à nouveau : "J'ai dû me sevrer une dizaine de fois ces quinze dernières années." L'ex compagnon de Sophie Marceau, peut toutefois compter sur son soutien et sa plus belle réussite. 

Pour Le Journal du dimanche, l'acteur, producteur et auteur avait confié sur quelle voie se lançait son Eleanor : "Ma fille est née alors que nous étions en fin de parcours avec sa mère. Mais je savais que Diane serait une mère parfaite. Ma fille m'a donné ce qui me manquait : un centre affectif. Je la regarde vivre. Elle a 21 ans. Elle est incroyable. Passionnée de musique, elle a ouvert un blog. (...) Et elle vient d'être recrutée par une agence de mannequins."

Il y a quelques heures, Christophe Lambert et sa fille ont assisté à l'avant-première du film 10 Days In A Madhouse à New York. L'acteur n'a jamais caché être très proche d'Eleanor et être prêt à tout pour la rendre heureuse.

Un papa poule fier d'être au bras de sa jolie fille. Ce mercredi 11 novembre,Christophe Lambert et Eleanor Lambert ont assisté tous les deux à l'avant-première du film 10 Days In A Madhouse à New York. Père et fille ont pris la pose devant les photographes et ont affiché leur énorme complicité. Alors qu'il faisait récemment la promotion de son livre Juge sur les plateaux de télévision, Christophe Lambert a évoqué à de nombreuses reprises sa relation fusionnelle avec cette dernière. Au cours de son passage dans C à Vous, l'acteur avait même lâché une petite larme en découvrant une vidéo enregistrée par la jeune femme. "Tu me manques beaucoup (...) Je suis très impatiente de te voir. Je t'aime tellement"pouvaient alors entendre les téléspectateurs. Après la diffusion de cette très courte séquence, l'acteur Christophe Lambert était apparu très ému face aux caméras."C'est ma perle" avait-il lâché, tout en essayant de retenir ses larmes.

Ce n'était pas la première fois que Christophe Lambert parlait de sa fille. La star des années 80 expliquait au cours d'un entretien accordé au JDD qu'il était un papa comblé, très fier d'Eleanor, née de son idylle avec l'actrice américaine Diane Lane."Ma fille m'a donné ce qui me manquait : un centre affectif. A new film festival intended to champion women and diversity in film is coming to Northwest Arkansas this spring.

The Bentonville Film Festival, chaired by Oscar winner Geena Davis, will make its debut on May 5-9 at various locations around Bentonville.

About 75 films will be screened as part of the inaugural event, ranging from studio premiers to independent features and documentaries. The goal of the festival and the newly created Bentonville Film Foundation is to be a positive influence in filmmaking to ensure films represent the national audience and the growing diversity of the U.S. population.
